David & Shelia McIlroy, Starbuck, WA

Two years ago I got a picture in the mail. I was to mail money back to the photographer, but I lost the address. One and one half years later, as I was driving, I saw a man taking pics of a train coming around the corner. I realized that it was the man I owed 10 dollars to. I pulled over and walked back to him. I apologized for being negligent in getting him paid and gave him his money. Fast forward into Covid-19. Columbia County Transport brings out senior meals and food bank boxes that I deliver to the appropriate people.  One day one of the CCT workers was this photographer.  He told the driver, “Starbuck is in good hands with Pastor Dave.  We need more people like him.” Every time I see him, he wants to shake my hand.

This is ranch country in southeast Montana. It’s definitely rural! Pray for this missionary family and church as they study, teach and share God’s Word.

One couple started a Sunday School. God grew it into a church and brought Village Missionaries. 60 years later, it’s a good time to celebrate.
