An Evening with Village Missions - Join us to HEAR what God is DOING and how You can be INVOLVED!

Alex & Melanie Pompu, Maidstone, SK

The fire department has been tremendously busy this month.

Mostly grass fires, but we had a car accident and a house fire.  The house fire had a neat incident.  After we got the house out, myself and a couple other members went inside to try to recover some valuable and necessary items – hearing aids, truck keys, medicines, etc.

Despite the hundreds of gallons of water we used, many of their belongings – including hearing aids that still worked – were recovered intact.

I praise God that even though these people and the vast majority of fire fighters don’t believe, God chose use our department to show His mercy to these people who lost their house.
