A middle-aged man called to see if he and his fiancée could tour our church and talk about getting married here.  The church building is the epitome of the small, white country church with a steeple and bell tower.  After a short tour, we sat and talked for almost three hours.  I explained from the Bible that marriage is a picture of Christ’s love for people, His Bride the Church.  I explained the Gospel, and the Lord opened their eyes.  They saw their need to be reconciled to God.  Before leaving, the couple smiled through their tears and thanked me for giving them “a lot to think and talk about.”

A week later they called again with more questions about what God says concerning marriage and salvation.  They promised to call me back as the Lord leads. Praise God!
