A couple months ago we started a “Community Connections” emphasis. We sent a Community Connections mailer to 500 homes. It describes the ministry of the church to our community.

Then two of the ladies in the church started a Family Story Time for pre-school-age children and their parents. Most of the families who come do not attend church. Through this activity, along with our annual Camp Creek Community Picnic on the church grounds and other events, we have seen encouraging progress in making community connections!  Several folks in the community expressed their appreciation for “all you do for our community.”

The world is so disconnected right now, and we are praying that the Lord would use Camp Creek Church to help bring the community together and to offer that life-changing connection of knowing Jesus Christ!
