Kevin & Leslie Hausman, Scotia, NE

Recently we prepared to baptize a young man named Andy but faced several obstacles. The water hook-up didn’t work, the tank heater kept blowing a fuse, and Andy was hesitant to speak in public.

We got the baptistry full and warm, and Andy did an excellent job of sharing his testimony and explaining the Gospel.

Andy and his wife were the first couple I had the privilege of marrying here in Scotia, and he is the first person I’ve baptized since we came last year. It was a great morning – very encouraging for everyone present! One elderly lady told me afterward that it brought back memories of her own baptism here many years ago.
