One Sunday morning I expressly asked the Lord to let me have a part in bringing someone to faith in Christ. That morning I went to the church early to prepare for our service, and while I was there, a woman knocked on the door. She asked for a ride into town. A neighbor and I drove her, and as she shared her story, we had the opportunity to explain the love of Christ. She asked if she could come to the worship service, and of course, we said she’d be welcome.
A few minutes into the service that morning, she showed up. Our people were very gracious, and one lady sat with her and answered her questions during the service. Our visitor heard the Gospel, was ready to respond and prayed with me to receive Christ as her Savior. What a fantastic answer to my morning’s prayer request!
