After hearing that the local kids’ soccer club would not offer any programs this spring, a woman in our church had an idea. She proposed that the church organize a soccer camp where we would teach some soccer skills, play a short game, and share one person’s testimony. We invited kids ages 7-12 to come after school on three Fridays. About 20 students, along with several parents and siblings, participated in the first session. One of our young men shared his testimony and did an excellent job of connecting sports and living for Jesus. We pray that the Lord uses each week’s testimony for His glory in the lives of these children and their families.
