One of our ministry partners made a surprise visit to our church on a Sunday morning. We were thrilled to see him and his son and introduce them to the church family. After the service, we went to the local Chinese restaurant. We enjoyed a good meal and an encouraging visit. We chatted with the new owner and his wife as we were leaving. When our friend introduced me as the local pastor, the restaurant owner’s face lit up. “I’m a Christian,” he said. “I didn’t know there is a church in this town.”

We talked for several more minutes. After walking us out, he said, “I’ll see you Sunday at church.” He kept his word, and the church family was very welcoming. When I told our ministry partner about it, he was excited that he had played a role in our ministry. God works in amazing ways!
