I officiated the military funeral for Dolores, a member of our church. One of her relatives said that she had been concerned when Dolores got married and moved to the middle of the mountains. She worried that Dolores’ walk with the Lord would suffer without a solid Bible-teaching church. After moving, Dolores had a chimney fire, and one of the firemen who responded was also the pastor in town. He invited Dolores to Grace Bible Fellowship. When Dolores’ relative heard about this, she was humbled that even in the middle of the mountains, there was a Bible-teaching church to care for and disciple her sister. This is Village Missions fulfilling its mission to rural America!
