Audubon is halfway between Des Moines and Omaha in southwest Iowa. About 2,000 people live within a two-mile radius, surrounded by fields in every direction. The primary industries are agriculture and livestock. High school sports – especially football and basketball – are significant to the community; most of the town attends the games.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for the children and youth of Audubon and opportunities to reach them, especially through the Christian high school ministry called Fellowship of Christian Wheelers (high school mascot).
- Pray for continued unity through fellowship.
- Pray for wisdom as we relate with the other churches in town. Several ministers are leaving the area or retiring; pray about the changing spiritual dynamic of our town.
