Mattawamkeag is a town of approximately 670 people, situated on the confluence of the Mattawamkeag and Penobscot Rivers in northern central Maine. The local economy—formerly fed by traffic on Rt 2—suffered when the Interstate was built. With almost no industry here, most people are retired or unemployed/underemployed.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  1. Pray for unity and leadership development within the church.
  2. Pray for our church to share the Gospel in our community boldly.
  3. Pray for a church family struggling with cancer and another struggling with the after-effects of a stroke.
