Ocean Park is affectionately known as the “End of the World” due to an annual car tour. We are in SW Washington, near Lewis & Clark’s Cape Discovery. The town hosts tourists in the summer and has many part-time residents. In the fall, the focus is on cranberry farming, fishing and the shellfish industry. The population is growing, but there are relatively few youth. Many in the area are unaware how much they need Christ.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- We have been here for over 20 of our 30 years in VM. Please pray that we would persevere and have energy and creativity.
- Pray for us and the people of our church, that we would seek first the kingdom of GOD and His righteousness.
- Pray for our adjustment as Cindy’s mother moves in with us.
- Pray for purposeful disciple-making efforts, that people would step into places of Christian service with joy and aspire to be good leaders.
