In our youth group, we emphasize Scripture memorization and ensure the kids understand what they’re memorizing. One time Kathryn was assisting a youth who had only recently started coming. They were memorizing Philippians 4:6-7, and Kathryn was trying to explain the meaning of the ‘peace of God that transcends all understanding.’
The youth replied candidly, “Oh, you mean the feeling I get when I enter this building?”
What a precious response and a testimony to the peace of our wonderful Savior!
