Skykomish Community Church is in the shadows of the Cascade mountains near Stevens Pass, in rural King County. The local people are resilient and robust; we have to be to thrive in this environment. The town’s population (now about 160) continues to shrink due to a lack of employment opportunities and high housing costs.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Praise God with us for a wonderful, close-knit church board that is actively portraying the love of Jesus to the community in practical ways.
- Pray that we would effectively reach those who live here with the Good News of Christ and welcome those who may move here.
