Helix has 180 people and is a bedroom community to Pendleton 17 miles to the southwest. Helix is surrounded by wheat fields, with the Columbia River to the north and the Blue Mountains to the south and east. Our local K-12 school draws students from the surrounding communities and is known for academic excellence. Most people work in agriculture, work at the local school or commute to one of the larger towns in the area. Helix Community Church was planted over 130 years ago and is the only church in town.

- Pray that our church body would continue to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ so that we can become more like Him.
- That our church body would share Christ’s love and the good news of the Gospel with our community.
- That the spiritual growth we see in our youth would keep deepening and that the Lord would protect their precious faith
