Bliss is in Southern Idaho, on the Snake River canyon rim. The Oregon Trail, three highways, and a Union Pacific Railroad mainline all intersect here. The surrounding area is agricultural – beef, dairy, alfalfa, corn, wheat, potato, and sugar beets. The population is about 50% Latino. Our proximity to Utah brings a significant LDS influence.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for continued enthusiasm for community outreach as our church learns to go and make disciples. Pray for opportunities to share the Gospel as we host English classes and AA meetings.
- Pray for our summer outreach efforts as we photograph kids showing their 4-H and FFA projects at the county fair and as we help coach soccer.
