This summer, Lakes Community Church held our first VBS since we started serving here. Eleven kids attended regularly; a few more came for at least part of it. They heard the gospel and learned to trust God, studying Proverbs 3:5-8. We met some community kids who don’t come to any church activities. The most important lesson for our church is that we are capable of running something like this. We hope to offer VBS again next year to the glory of God!
