Rich Valley is not on the highway but has a small collection of 18 homes about an hour northwest of Edmonton. Farming and oilfields once dominated, but now most residents work in Edmonton or remotely. The community has a mix of long-term residents and younger families who moved out seeking “the country life.”
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Our family just celebrated our 18th year here. However, the church family is primarily new members, so we are still learning.
- We are still a small church although we have new people. We pray for more young families to start attending.
- Pray that as a church, we would “shine our light on a hill.”
- Pray for me (Chris) as I plan/host the 2025 International Federation of Fire Chaplains Conference in Edmonton.
