Machias was in a rural setting but is now a bedroom community of Everett. As with most western Washington areas, we receive high levels of rain! Carol and I came here in 1990. At that time, Machias was in the early stages of transforming from a blue-collar, primarily agricultural and logging/mill town to a white-collar suburb. The population has grown since then. So have the problems of crime, drug use, and homelessness. The fields are ripe for harvest!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Please pray that our church family continues to grow spiritually and in love for one another.
- Pray that we can further equip and energize our people to share the hope of Christ with the unsaved people in their spheres of influence.
- Pray for those in our church family who are dealing with serious and sometimes life-threatening health issues.
