A community leader asked to hold an Easter egg hunt on our church’s property for the neighborhood. We agreed that I could address the crowd and explain the reason for Easter. One hundred kids plus parents came. I explained we were celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to redeem us. Then the kids hunted for 3,000 filled eggs. We gave the families gospel tracts and church invitations. We praise the Lord for this open door and pray that He will work in the hearts of those who came.
