Dora is located near Punxsutawney, home of the famous weather predicting groundhog, “Punxsutawney Phil.” We are surrounded by hills and forests. There used to be strip mining throughout the area, but the land is now reclaimed into beautiful pastures. Hunting and fishing are the two most popular activities, making our church’s annual Wild Game Dinner a very popular event and great outreach opportunity.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray that our church family would grow in their boldness to reach the lost in our area.
- Pray for the salvation of the many Amish who live around us. They are forbidden to attend any of our church activities.
- Pray for the after-school Good News Club.
