Fred & Cindy Stromberg, Azalea, OR

Each year, thousands of people drive through Azalea without realizing it. The little white church they see from the freeway has been here since 1953, serving a community that was historically made up of timber industry workers and their families. In recent times, Azalea has become home to people who left cities for the country life.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  1. Praise the Lord for ministry to people grieving the loss of a spouse and how we see people turning to Christ.
  2. Although our community is generally older, we do have a growing group of young families. Pray that we make the most of these discipleship opportunities.
  3. Pray that God uses us to grow this church in every good way for his glory.
