Crossroads Congregational Church is in Northfield (a small community of a few homes) between the towns of Scotland, Burford, and Norwich. We are surrounded by fields: corn, asparagus, beans, tobacco, ginseng – you name it! We even have a few dairy farmers in attendance on Sunday.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- We’ve made good connections in our first year. Please pray that we continue to be intentional in deepening those connections and making new ones.
- Pray for the launch of a young adults group in September.
- In the words of 1 Tim. 4:12, pray that we set “a good example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”
- Pray for the evangelism training we’re doing. An encouraging turnout indicates that people want to learn how to effectively share their faith. Pray for our congregation as we seek to be bolder in sharing the saving truth of the gospel.
