San de Fuca is a beautiful, unincorporated community between the towns of Coupeville and Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Our community has some small specialty shops and farm stands; residents buy groceries and other essentials in one of the nearby towns. Farming is integral to the economy, and mussels from nearby Penn Cove are shipped all over the world. The island attracts many tourists and retirees.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Several members of the church family are dealing with various health issues. Pray for strength, comfort, peace, and if it is God’s will, healing.
- Pray for God’s direction and discipleship for future elders.
- Praise God that several members have started serving the chapel family and the community in new ways. Pray that God moves in more hearts to serve.
- Pray for opportunities to share the hope of Christ with the unsaved in the community.
