A Small-Town Church Assists with Emergency Response

A storm flooded our area with 17 inches of rain over 3 days, saturating the ground, knocking out power, closing roads, and disrupting the sewer system. Skykomish Food Bank volunteers – including several from the church – went into action. They served meals and provided a warm place for people to stay. Cathy and I enjoyed helping, too.
