Amaranth is a low-income community of about 200 people in southern Manitoba. Most of the town’s residents are indigenous. The surrounding area has farms and cattle ranches; many small farms are being absorbed into bigger operations. Amaranth is close to a large indigenous reserve with about 6,000 residents.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Our church has an aging congregation. Pray that we would humbly trust God to guide us and give us his vision for the church in his time.
- Pray that we would find ways to connect with the youth group teens during the summer.
- Pray that we stay focused on the Lord’s Prayer.
