Lummi Island is the easternmost island in the San Juan archipelago. Most residents are retired islanders. However, some younger residents work in commercial fishing or commute to Bellingham. Lummi Island is effectively a closed community; the only way onto the island is via a ferry that moors on the island side every night.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray that God draws more people to salvation in Jesus Christ and adds to his church on Lummi Island.
- That God keeps the church witness for Christ vibrant.
- That God enables the saints to continue loving and serving the other islanders and demonstrate winsome lives of faith.
- That God would use me to feed the sheep in the right way at the right time according to their individual needs.
- Tammy is in charge of the local school. Pray for her protection and her witness.
