I spent several days preparing for the Celebration of Life service for our church board chairman, Paul Marrs. He was a godly man who became a dear friend to our family in the two years we’ve served here. This was only my second funeral. I was told it would be very large, so my son and I set up overflow seating and a live video feed in our fellowship hall. Our building was filled to capacity, with 153 in the main sanctuary and nearly 110 in the fellowship hall. Paul was a deeply loved man, and he will be missed by our congregation and leadership team.
