Butte Falls is in southern Oregon, in the densely forested Cascade Mountains. This small community has 400 residents. Our gas station and general store are a blessing to people traveling through on hunting, fishing, and camping adventures. Our town also has two restaurants, a K-12 charter school, a library, and a beautiful park. Butte Falls Community Bible Church has partnered with Village Missions for 55 years.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Our town has kept a local school as a charter school, but it has insufficient enrollment and staffing issues. Pray for wisdom in how we might assist and encourage them.
- Pray for strength and grace to serve our community as we help with the food pantry, cook meals for the hungry, and cut firewood for those who can’t. God is using our whole family to reach all ages with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Our oldest son is preparing to attend college this fall. Pray that he reflects Christ and helps to make disciples in his new mission field.
