Our church rented a space on the community college campus for a concert by the Christian band Consumed by Fire. How did a small church host a big-name group? Some years ago, their bus had a wiring fault while in our area, and men from the church repaired it. This group still remembers! We wished for a larger turnout but were delighted that the gospel was clearly shared and seven people trusted in Jesus! The messages of the songs were a much-needed and timely encouragement to our church family, too. We felt God was showing us that even though this has been a year of testing, He loves us very much.
