I met a man in our local park who is traveling and trying to figure out life. A friendly greeting led to a four-hour conversation about the Bible. As I responded to his objections about the Bible, I was thankful for the Contenders Discipleship Initiative lessons that explained the Bible’s authenticity! The man realized that he hadn’t read the Bible or investigated it for himself. I gave him a copy and prayed with him.
