We launched a youth group last winter after a woman in the community talked to me about the need for one. We started with junior high and high school students, then let some younger students join. This fall, we have 18 youth—five from families in our church—and 12 leaders. One leader is a recent high school graduate who also joined our church’s CDI class for ministry training. Together, we are learning to follow Jesus with our mind, emotions, and will. Praise God that these young people are growing closer to Jesus!
