We had 25 kids at AWANA this week! About 20 minutes after the kids went downstairs, we lost our power. It was pretty dark in the basement, but our fantastic volunteers pulled out their cell phones lights and the kids had an absolute blast! The exceptional part took place just before we lost power.
Pam felt the Lord laying it on her heart to share the plan of salvation. Every leader was contacted ahead of time so they would bathe this in prayer. You know, when God lays something on your heart, you just have to say “Yes”, because His plan and timing are always perfect.
Literally moments after the plan of salvation was completed, the lights went out and there, in the dark, 3 kids put their faith and trust in Jesus!
