We are continuing to see people returning to the church and welcome newcomers who have moved into the community. Those who remained faithful during the difficult times are excited to see the pews fill up again and to be reunited with those who had left!
In the past, the church partnered with the Baptist church in town to hold a VBS. Â Although Philipsburg Community Church has not participated the past couple of years, this year Serena and I are helping with it, giving us the opportunity to meet more people in the community.
We talked with the hospital’s activity director, and we will be doing services in the Care Facility on the 2nd and 5th Sundays of the month as well as helping with some of their weekly events.
