Mike & Kim Krutsch, Trail, OR

Trail is an unincorporated community with houses spread up and down two rural highways. Logging once was the mainstay, but now the economy is largely geared to tourists who come for world-class fishing on the scenic Rogue River and to see Crater Lake National Park. Many people commute about 25 miles to Medford for work. Most of the recent arrivals to the area are retirees from California. Trail has a gas station/convenience store and a small museum.

The larger town of Shady Cove is a few miles away. It has several businesses, a community center, the school (where we partner with Child Evangelism Fellowship to hold a Good News Club), and the fire department, with which Mike is involved.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

  • Pray for courage and creativity to reach out to the community despite Covid-19 fears and restrictions.
  • Pray for meaningful connections with children and their families.
  • Pray that the joy of the Lord would be our strength.

This is one of the earliest VM fields in Canada. Please pray that the church family today would continue growing spiritually as they seek God together.
