Several years ago, Jack “came back to the Lord” (as he puts it) and started attending church. Soon he became a very active church member. He often expressed concern for his wife, Patty, who had little interest in church. About a year ago, Patty told Jack, “You’ve changed. You don’t go drinking, and you aren’t so mean.” He explained to her that Christ was the reason for these changes. She skeptically replied, “We’ll see if it sticks.”

About six months ago, Patty started coming to church with Jack. She has put her trust in Jesus Christ, and she listens carefully to my sermons. She has even expressed interest in becoming a member. The change in Patty is remarkable, and we praise God that she and Jack are part of our church!
