We are entering our third year serving in the Assistant Director role. We give spiritual guidance and coaching to the eight District Representative couples serving our Village Missions family. As part of this, we host two DR meetings each year. I (Jon) oversee the vetting of applicants applying to serve with Village Missions. I spend a great deal of time building relationships through phone and Zoom conversations with them. I also oversee our two Candidate Schools held in the Spring and Fall each year. Debbie coordinates the meals for our District Representative Meetings and Candidate Schools. She also encourages our District Representative wives, missionary wives, and candidate wives.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Praise the Lord for good interviews with applicants in Texas and for a fruitful time at Dallas Theological Seminary, where I worked on building a relationship with faculty and students for recruitment.
- Please pray for us as we prepare for the District Representative Meetings in March.
- Pray for the Spring Candidate School applicants as they move ahead in the process.
