Yampa is located at the head waters of the Yampa River, thirty-five miles south of Steamboat Springs, CO. It is the gateway to the Flattops, a beautiful mountain range in Routt National Forest. At one time Yampa was the lettuce capital of the US, but it has now evolved into a sports paradise. Many hunters and snowmobilers visit every year. Yampa is on the south end of Routt County, which is statistically the least churched and most irreligious county in Colorado. There is real need for people to understand who Christ is and what He offers.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray that we would have the wisdom to lead our church in the direction God wants.
- Pray for Yampa Bible Church to grow in the love and knowledge of Christ Jesus.
- Pray for Routt County, that many people would be drawn to the things of God.
- Pray for our health, as we seem to be visiting often with the doctors.
