The church we serve hosted a Christmas Craft Sale. The lady who organized it did a fantastic job finding some good local vendors including quilters, woodworkers, honey sellers, and a painter. My wife, Christina, also made items to sell. We invited people to donate non-perishable items for Christmas gift baskets as well. I created the music playlist with songs that focus on Jesus Christ. It was good to hear those messages of truth playing in the background. Well over 100 people came throughout the day, and everyone enjoyed it. I was especially encouraged by community participation. I’ve found that many people here are reluctant to step inside a church, but this event proved an excellent way to connect with them.
