Chris & Bethany Jones, Nisland, SD

A fierce winter storm hit our community. When the wind finally let up, Bethany and I donned winter gear and began digging ourselves out of the massive snow drifts surrounding our home. We noticed a few others in town beginning to clean up and decided to take the opportunity to meet some people. We walked around town helping others dig out of their homes and businesses. There wasn’t much we could do with two small snow shovels, but we enjoyed meeting and visiting with some folks.

The following week, the wind brought a new set of snow drifts that were larger and extremely dense. One of the folks we had just met offered to dig us out with his front-loading tractor. I’m always amazed by how God provides everything we need!
