Watersmeet is on the western end of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and just north of the Wisconsin border. We live in a land of wilderness and water. Winters are long, and bugs abound in summer, but this beautiful area is still described as “God’s Country.” Our economy depends on tourism, with people coming to enjoy the Ottawa National Forest, the Sylvania Wilderness area, and a casino. The small town of Watersmeet is nestled against a reservation and national forests. At Watersmeet Bible Church, we desire to shine the light of Christ into this spiritually dark area.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- That we would be good ambassadors for Christ to the people of Watersmeet and neighboring communities.
- We have been blessed with a growing children’s ministry. Pray for wisdom as we seek to teach the next generation to love and follow the Lord.
- Opportunities to serve in the community are few. Pray that we recognize new ones and are wise about where and how we should serve.
