A friend requested I visit his father, Phil, in a hospice center. Phil was losing his battle with cancer and had recently accepted Christ. We visited him and read Scripture, but he was unable to respond most of the time.
His daughter and his wife were there, so I turned to his wife and asked if I could share some Scripture with her. I began reading portions from Romans and explaining the Gospel. Before I could finish reading my intended verses, she asked how she could receive this forgiveness and belong to Jesus! I prayed with her as she put her trust in Christ. Praise the Lord!
