We received a call concerning an elderly member of our church who was forgetting to do many of the things required to stay healthy. We called several women and asked them to help. Enough people volunteered that at least once a day someone visits the lady and helps her with daily tasks. We also arranged for her to get a ride to church every week. Seeing the smile on this lady’s face is such a beautiful reminder of what the church is all about!
“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:35).
