We hosted an Opioid Awareness Event at a local park. VM Board member, Sheldon Blattner, was the speaker. In the week before the event, he and I talked to all the business owners in our town. We hung posters around town, too. We hoped that at least 50 people would attend. On the day, Pam walked up and down the main tourist street in Calumet; as a result, 99 people came to our event. We are grateful for all the connections we made, and we’re praying God would use this event for good in our community.
