We recently launched a new ministry at our church. “The Village Ministry” is focused on weekly training for evangelism combined with monthly community service projects. We were encouraged by the turnout at the first meeting. A week later, we did our first community service project. We spent a morning cleaning the property of a man in our community. We intentionally visited with him throughout the morning, and he was extremely grateful for the conversation and company. In fact, he came to our worship service the following Sunday and publicly thanked everyone. Our next assignment is to write out our personal testimonies.
