Our church has several women who are relative newcomers, so Rachel decided to organize a women’s retreat. She asked three women at different life stages to speak. They each shared their testimony and an aspect of God’s character they have experienced. District Representative Erika Wilson followed each one with a related Bible lesson. The three sessions were: God is my provider, God is my sustainer, and God is my redeemer. The two-day retreat included a plated dinner, worship in music, games, and an opportunity to create a gift bag for a friend. The retreat drew the women closer together, and many participants said it was very impactful.
