Cardston is located in the southwest corner of Alberta, where the flat prairies turn into the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. A town of 3,500 people, Cardston is a farming and ranching community at heart. Like many of the surrounding communities in southern Alberta, it is predominantly Mormon (or Latter-Day Saint, as they like to be called) and has a long heritage of Native American history, as Cardston sits along the border of the Blood Reserve of the Kanai Blackfoot Nation.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- Pray for our family as we settle into a new home across town and as we look forward to another baby due in March.
- Throughout the school year we host mid-week Bible studies, youth group, and the AWANA program. Pray that God will use these ministries to share the truth of His gospel with our community.
- Pray for reconciliation in Christ and an open door for our church to minister to people on the Blackfoot Reserve that borders our community.
- Lastly, please pray that God will continue to supply us with strength, patience, faith, and love as we share the hope of Christ here in Cardston.
